VOTING

Connecticut permits voting by absentee for a number of reasons — including concerns about health and safety during the pandemic. You can learn more about voting by absentee and you can get your application, here.

The General Election is Tuesday, November 8th. Polls are open from 6 AM to 8 PM. If you are in line by 8 PM you must be allowed to vote.

Identification will be requested when you arrive, but if you forgot yours, in most cases you will be permitted to sign an affidavit in lieu of presenting ID. Learn more about ID requirements for voters here.

Aren’t sure if you’re registered? Check your voter registration status here.

You must be registered seven days before Election Day, but if you missed the deadline you can still vote by participating in Election Day Registration. Learn more about Election Day Registration here.
